For this first year ever, Futsal Ballarat took two female representative teams to the 2019 Futsal Oz Nationals. After having a number of girls attend our trials, we made the decision to attempt to put together a girls team to take away in January. In the end, we managed to put together two teams - an Under 10s and an Under 12 girls team.

After only a few weeks of training, with some not having even played futsal before, both teams put on an impressive performance over the course of the tournament.

We would also like to commend Under 12 player, Tanessia Munday for being selected as part of the Australian All Stars Team for her performance throughout the tournament. Congratulations again Tanessia!

We are very proud of all the girls efforts and look forward to continuing to grow and facilitate female participation within Futsal!
