2019 BALLARAT CUP!
Over the Term 3 school holidays we hosted our inaugral Ballarat Cup. The aim of the tournament is to bring together all the regional futsal clubs from across Victoria for a competitive, fun and social two day futsal competition. This year saw clubs travelling from Sunbury, Healesville, Geelong and Melbourne to compete in our Ballarat Cup. 

20 hours of futsal, 74 games, 6 champions and absolutely 0 incidents!

We saw some impressive futsal across the two days with each team continuing to improve over each game and all the clubs continued to support one another and cheer each other on! 

We also wanted to give a big shout out to all our girls that participated in the tournmaent! Whilst it was unfortunate we couldn't put together  girls only age groups, all of the girls teams and individual players absolutely starred with some impressive futsal! The girls grand finals were also super exciting with the Under 11 girls going to extra time and then a penalty shoot out with Healesville taking out the title. The Under 13 girls final was also super close with Futsal Ballarat coming away with the win with a nervous final 2 minutes. We can't wait for future tournaments to come and to continue to develop the girls skills with the hope of having girls only divisions in the future!

We want to extend a massive thankyou to all our regional friends who helped make this year's Ballarat Cup a massive success. Thankyou to all 30 teams, players, coaches, spectators, volunteers and everyone in between for making this such an enjoyable experience for everyone!
